Responsible for collecting, coding and recording accurate and complete patient care data from outpatient facility records to assure optimum and timely financial reimbursement and statistical reporting. Applies knowledge of specialized information specific to coding, medical terminology according to all coding guidelines.

Associates degree in Health Information Technology preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree In Health Information Administration preferred.
Approved Coding Course completion.
